Installing and Using a Proxy bookmarklet.

What is a proxy bookmarklet, and how do I install one?

A proxy bookmarklet allows you to access a web site from outside the libraries' web pages, that normally may require authentication. For example if you've been sent an e-mail, about a new source, perhaps from a friend or colleague, you can use the proxy bookmarklet to add the U of Manitoba's proxy information to the URL. You would then be prompted to insert your student number and PIN and have direct access to that resource.

Digital Gov Pubs of Manitoba

This just new. I haven't had a chance to explore much, but I really like the search by subject feature.  This has a lot of potential for accessing Gov. Pubs. by subject. Use the browse by subject option.
