Installing and Using a Proxy bookmarklet.

What is a proxy bookmarklet, and how do I install one?

A proxy bookmarklet allows you to access a web site from outside the libraries' web pages, that normally may require authentication. For example if you've been sent an e-mail, about a new source, perhaps from a friend or colleague, you can use the proxy bookmarklet to add the U of Manitoba's proxy information to the URL. You would then be prompted to insert your student number and PIN and have direct access to that resource.

"Altogether 1,350 people in Moncton, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver will be provided housing, and close to 1,000 other people will be provided health and social services but won't receive housing. Researchers will track both groups to assess the comparative success of each method."
