I'll leave this blog up for a little while, perhaps until the end of the month, but won't be making any more contributions to it. If you hadn't heard, I won't be the Liaison Librarian for SWRK anymore, and hence will be taking this blog down shortly.
You can still follow me on Twitter, and my non-SWRK musings on my blog at ambrosamman.blogspot. See you there,

Installing and Using a Proxy bookmarklet.
What is a proxy bookmarklet, and how do I install one?
A proxy bookmarklet allows you to access a web site from outside the libraries' web pages, that normally may require authentication. For example if you've been sent an e-mail, about a new source, perhaps from a friend or colleague, you can use the proxy bookmarklet to add the U of Manitoba's proxy information to the URL. You would then be prompted to insert your student number and PIN and have direct access to that resource.
